Tip: Brass floor vents are sold by the hole size they fit into. For example, a 4" x 12" holes would require a 4 x 12 metal register covers.
Wall clips should only be used with the 2.25" and 4" wide sizes. These sizes cannot be used on the ceiling.
The 6" wide sizes come with knock-out screw holes and matching screws. This allows the metal register covers to be used on the wall as well as the ceiling. Check out this helpful video explaining how the knock-out screws are used.
